Some ground rules.

These are set and enforced by the thedayroom.social moderators.

1. Treat others as you would like to be treated.
   Racist, sexist, misogynistic, homophobic, transphobic, and other misanthropic posts are forbidden.
2. You must be at least 18 years of age to join this server.
3. No content that is illegal in the United States.
4. No harassment, block evasion, dogpiling, or doxxing of others.
   Repeat attempts to communicate with users who have blocked you or creation of accounts solely to harass or insult individuals is strictly prohibited. Coordinated activity to attack other users is prohibited. Posting of private personal information about others is prohibited.
5. Posts that contain nudity or disturbing or violent content must be marked with a content warning, and media marked as sensitive when posting.

6. Porn or other sexually explicit material is forbidden.
7. Bots must be marked as bots in their profile preferences, and automated posts should be unlisted.
   Any accounts that produce automated posts and do not plan to manually respond to replies are considered "bots" here. This rule applies to all bots, other than local accounts that provide content of general public interest AND post at an average frequency of at most once per hour with reasonable spacing. Other exceptions may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
8. Content created by others must be attributed, and use of generative AI must be disclosed.
